Immigration Law 101 with the CAIR Coalition

Co-sponsored by the Capital Area Muslim Bar Association (CAMBA), the Iranian American Bar Association (IABA), & the South Asian Bar Association of Washington, D.C. (SABA-DC).

Please join us as we host a training with the Capital Area Immigrants' Rights (CAIR) Coalition, to learn the basics of immigration law and how lawyers can help protect immigrants’ legal rights. 

The CAIR Coalition is a nonprofit organization that provides free legal services to immigrants at risk of detention and deportation in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. CAIR Coalition works with pro bono partners in the DMV area to represent adults and children who are detained and in deportation proceedings. 

This training will consist of: 
- A Know Your Rights Presentation about Immigration Enforcement
- A Basic Overview of Immigration Law
