NEAL SHAH is an analyst for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, where he has worked on implementing key provisions of the Affordable Care Act.  His most notable project has been the development of fraud and abuse waivers for Medicare Accountable Care Organization initiatives.

Neal’s professional interests are health law and international law.  He earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.  While there, he was selected to attend the Center for Transnational Legal Studies in London, England, where he studied international law with students and faculty from ten different countries.

Prior to attending law school, Neal was a Strategic Planning Analyst for Sinai Health System, a large “safety-net” health system serving low-income and underserved communities in Chicago, Illinois.

Neal has also earned an M.P.H. degree from the University of Illinois, and a B.S. from Loyola University Chicago.
