TAYAN PATEL is an associate with Smith, Gambrell and Russell, LLP.  Tayan's practice covers all areas of Intellectual Property.  In particular, he has successfully prosecuted hundreds of patent applications in technologies such as semiconductor processing, electrical devices, biomedical devices, pharmaceuticals and the mechanical arts.  Prior to joining Smith Gambrell and Russell, LLP, Tayan was an Examiner with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Tayan is admitted to practice in New York, the District of Columbia and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.  Tayan received his B.E. in Chemical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and his J.D. from Rutgers University.
