2024 Mentorship Program

SABA-DC’s Mentorship Program pairs early to mid-career SABA-DC members with experienced attorneys in the DMV area who can provide career advice, guidance, and support throughout the year. The Mentorship Program helps facilitate voluntary relationships between members of the South Asian legal community by matching Program participants based on experience, skills, and background. This is a mentee-driven program, providing many benefits to SABA-DC members seeking active mentorship to augment their professional development. For more experienced attorneys, serving as a mentor is a great way to give back to the SABA-DC community and share invaluable experience, perspective, and knowledge with local attorneys. Once pairs are matched, mentors and mentees will have the opportunity to meet and get to know each other at our program kick-off event -- details forthcoming.

We are happy to report that our 2024 Mentorship Program has seen a significant increase in mentee registrations this year, underscoring a rising need for mentorship within our community. We are actively looking for mentors who can contribute to the positive development of our mentees' career journeys. If you are available to be a mentor this year, please register at https://forms.gle/LFzYpedGf35SyVqq8 by Friday, March 15th.

Note, the application period for mentees has closed as of March 8th.

Not a SABA-DC member yet? No problem. Join here to participate in this important and worthwhile program.
