PADMA SHAH is a Health Policy Scholar within the Hirsh Health Law and Policy Program at George Washington University. Previously, Mr. Shah was an attorney at Arent Fox PLLC and two boutique firms, The H.T. Than Law Group and Keil & Weinkauf.
Mr. Shah is active with different professional and civic organizations. Mr. Shah is an active volunteer with South Asian Americans Leading Together (SAALT). Mr. Shah also serves on the Criminal Justice Committee and Public Interest Committee of the North American South Asian Bar Association (NASABA) and has previously served on the SABA-DC Board as the Secretary (2006-2007).
Mr. Shah is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is also admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and New York.
Mr. Shah graduated from the George Mason University Law School in 2003. Prior to attending law school, he attended Georgetown University from which he received a Master of Science degree in Physiology in 2000 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology & Government in 1998. During law school, he was a research assistant to then-Professor Kimberly Moore, who is now a Judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
